    Wallace Hall

This building houses the offices, classrooms, studios, and workshop space associated with the operation of the Graphic Design (GDES) and Industrial Design (INDD) programs.

Students working in this building have access to Fusion360, SolidWorks, Rhino 3D Modeling, Keyshot rendering, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office 365, and other discipline specific software as well as one Universal ILS-12.150d 150 Watt laser cutter, one Universal ILS-3.75 50 Watt laser cutter, and one Epilog Legend 36-EXT 75 Watt laser cutter. There is also a full wood working shop, metal working shop and a Roland MDX-650 CNC Milling machine used to aide in the production of conceptual models.

This building is home to the School of Industrial and Graphic Design. From printing space to shops to studio spaces. Anything that a student could need to complete a design project can probably be found here.

On the first floor we have graphic design studio spaces for sophomore through senior year classes, as well as shop space for industrial and graphic design students to use through their entire college career.

The summer up studio is on the first floor and that is the same space that second year industrial design students are in as well. The first floor also houses the graphic design senior project space. During that time, each senior has a dedicated space, where they can work on their final project.

The second floor is where you'll find the first year graphic design foundation studios, as well as the junior and senior industrial design studio spaces. We have a photo room on the second floor and all of the faculty offices are on the second floor.

So since I've been in the Industrial Design program, I've had every single tool that I've needed.

Something that I think is really cool about each of our classrooms is that the walls are these kind of corkboard materials, where you can actually hang up progress of your work so you can interact with other students or interact with the teachers. And you have a space to hang up your work, talk about it, and collaborate over it in a very visual, very immediate sense.
