We have three master's level graduate programs here in the CADC, one in landscape architecture, one in industrial design and one in building construction. We also have two Executive Master's programs, one in building construction and one in real estate development, and we have a doctoral program in building construction. The master's level programs in our college are really geared towards students who might be considering a career change. Their undergraduate degree could have been in another discipline, and now they're interested in pursuing landscape architecture or industrial design or building construction, and those graduate programs put them on that professional path. Our executive graduate programs do a similar thing for students who are working full time. They're able to complete those degree programs while they continue to work and earn those credentials that will lead them down those professional pathways.
Our doctoral program is an amazing opportunity for students who already grounded in those disciplines, particularly building construction. Building Construction, to advance into research focused work as as a PhD student, research is really a really important part of our mission in the College of Architecture, Design and Construction, graduate students play critical roles in those research initiatives, working as research assistants, working alongside faculty in the design and pursuit of research programs, and then helping those faculty publish and disseminate the findings from those research projects. One of the hallmarks of graduate study in the CADC is our interaction with the professional stakeholders and players that our graduates will be working with after they complete our programs, our industrial design students are working with real corporations bringing real consumer product problems to the studio. Our landscape architecture students are working with foresters and landowners and public officials and all of the stakeholders that will be part of that professional path. And similarly, with our students in building construction, they're engaging with people in the construction world and going out to construction sites and learning from industry professionals.
