Auburn's College of Architecture, Design and Construction offers three master's-level programs, two executive education programs and a doctoral program to support graduate-level education in architecture, design and construction.
- The Master of Landscape Architecture program in the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape Architecture is built for students both with and without design backgrounds and prepares students for careers as landscape architects who will imagine, design and build the 21st century’s landscapes. Fieldwork experiences, landscape advocacy and design research permeate our curriculum and by equipping students with the tools of landscape architecture, graduates are prepared to contribute meaningfully to society as designer-citizens.
- The Master of Industrial Design in the School of Industrial and Graphic Design is a research- and methods-based program aimed at developing students for careers in the world of product design. Industry-sponsored collaborations, which offer our students the opportunity to work with corporate clients, replicate the relationship between a product design team and manufacturer. Graduates design products and systems that consider human interaction, manufacturability, marketability and environmental impact.
- The Executive Master of Real Estate Development is offered jointly through the CADC and the Harbert College of Business. Students learn industry-specific skills, including finance, architecture, planning, construction, law and market analysis. Graduates plan, finance and build economically sustainable developments based on principles taught in our online classrooms and seen first-hand during field study trips in the U.S. and abroad.
- The Ph.D. in Building Construction, designed to provide advanced construction education for those who hold degrees in construction, architecture or engineering, and The Master of Building Construction, most commonly completed by those holding an undergraduate degree in a non-construction discipline but interested in a career change into the field of construction management. These programs offer an unparalleled educational experience through research-based, industry-oriented study in the planning, financing, design, execution and operation of construction projects.
- The McWhorter School of Building Science offers three graduate certificates in construction management. These 12-credit online certificate programs are designed for students looking for an introduction to comprehensive construction management topics.
